The Wiwynn AVA-M Quad M.2 NVMe Carrier Card is a high-performance enterprise-grade PCIe storage expansion adapter designed for hyperscale cloud, data center, workstation, and server environments. This Full-Height Half-Length (FHHL) carrier card supports up to four M.2 NVMe SSDs simultaneously and connects directly through a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface, providing dedicated PCIe 3.0 x4 bandwidth to each installed drive for maximum storage performance.

This carrier card is a passive adapter and requires motherboard support for PCIe lane bifurcation.

Required BIOS Setting:

  • PCIe Bifurcation: x4/x4/x4/x4

Expected Behavior

If x4/x4/x4/x4 Bifurcation is Enabled

  • All four NVMe SSDs are detected
  • Full performance available on all drives

If x8/x8 Bifurcation is Used

  • Typically only two SSDs are detected

If Bifurcation Support Is Unavailable

  • Only one SSD may be detected
  • Remaining drives will not be visible to the operating system
