The MBM-GEM-001 is a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet switch module that connects to the LAN interfaces of MicroBlade servers. It is an SDN-enabled Layer 2 Ethernet switch with two internal Ethernet paths to the MicroBlade Chassis Management Module (CMM) for configuration and management. The switch supports SDN OpenFlow 1.x, link aggregation, VLAN, Spanning Tree, Access Control Lists, and Jumbo Frames. It provides a connection between the Ethernet controllers integrated on the mainboard of MicroBlade servers and external Ethernet systems.
