Built with 48-Layer Samsung TLC V-NAND flash technology, the PM1633a generation offers improved efficiency and write performance compared to earlier PM1633 models. The drive features a 12Gb/s Dual-Port SAS interface, enterprise-class endurance, and Power Loss Protection (PLP) technology to safeguard data during unexpected power interruptions.

This EMC-branded SSD is commonly deployed in Dell EMC Unity, Unity XT, VNX, VMAX, PowerMax, PowerVault, and other enterprise storage platforms, while also being compatible with many server platforms that support standard 2.5" SAS SSDs.
