Platform Compatibility & Locking Notice
This version of the EPYC 7313 is Dell-locked, meaning it has been security-fused to operate exclusively within Dell server platforms. This is enforced via AMD's Platform Secure Boot (PSB) feature, which permanently binds the processor to Dell-signed firmware.
As a result, this CPU will not function in non-Dell systems, even if socket and chipset compatibility exists. It is intended specifically for use within Dell's enterprise infrastructure and is not suited for independent or custom server builds.
